Cedar City Man Gets 5 To Life For Sexual AssaultÂ

(Cedar City, UT)  –  A judge is giving a Cedar City man five years to life in prison for a sexual assault conviction.  Judge Kenneth Barnes of the 5th District Court sentenced John Adams for multiple charges of sexual assault and rape.  Last year, Adams was convicted of raping a woman repeatedly every week at different locations during a period of several years.  During yesterday’s sentencing hearing,  a tearful Adams apologized to his victim and told the judge he was very sorry for what he did.Â
