Cedar City Man Arrested For 2013 Alleged Sex Assault

(Cedar City, UT) — A man is in jail for allegedly admitting to sexually assaulting a mentally disabled woman more than three years ago in Cedar City. Thirty-three-year-old George Owen Allred was arrested last week for the alleged assault that happened back in 2013. Court documents show that Allred was an employee for a facility that helped mentally disabled individuals. The victim claims that Allred pulled a vehicle they were in to the side of the road and put his hand up her shirt. Allred is being held on ten-thousand-dollars bail.
