LOGAN, Utah-Per a Wednesday statement, the Cache County Fair and Rodeo will go on as scheduled next month at Logan.
The rodeo kicks off events August 5 with the Cache County Fair commencing August 6.
Fair organizers said they are adding the extra day as they are expecting more cowboys than usual at the rodeo.
Cache County Fair rodeo chairman LaMont Poulsen confirmed Tremonton, Burley (Idaho) and Gooding (Idaho) are also having their annual rodeos.
Organizers say they have contacted the Bear River Health Department and will encourage rodeo attendees to wear a mask.
However, only a recommendation to wear masks will be issued. They are not mandatory.
Local entertainment will go on as scheduled including country music band Little Texas August 8.
The fairgrounds are located at 490 S. 500 West in Logan and organizers say reserved tickets are $12 while covered seating is $17.
