Boy Hospitalized After Being Kicked By Horse In Sevier County

(Redmond, UT) — A four-year-old boy is recovering after being kicked in the head by a horse in Sevier County. Houston Hampton was playing outside at a farm in Redmond on Friday when the horse kicked him in the forehead, fracturing his skull. Doctors removed the boy’s skull cap to allow his brain to heal and also had to remove damaged tissue from his frontal lobe. The boy was able to move his fingers and toes yesterday, giving his parents hope that he will recover from the injury.
