(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is calling a new General Authority Seventy. The First Presidency called on Alexander Dushku to assist Church leadership in preaching and administering the gospel throughout the world. Members of the General Authority Seventies serve the church full-time until they’re 70 years old. Dushku will be sustained to the leadership position by church membership during the general conference in October.
