HEBER CITY, Utah-Per information released from the Wasatch County Health Department, 88 percent of covid-19 cases in Wasatch County are recovered.
This was revealed by Trudy Brereton, the health education and media relations coordinator at the Wasatch County Department of Health.
Of the 646 cases of covid-19 in Wasatch County, Brereton stated 569 are recovered.
There is one new hospitalization in Wasatch County, raising the total to 26. The deaths remain unchanged in Wasatch County in the past 24 hours as this total still remains at 7.
As for Utah statistics, there have now been 52,822 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 419 in the past 24 hours and a net increase of 123 in the same span.
668,425 Utahns have been tested for covid-19. This is an increase of 3,904 Utahns in the past 24 hours.
This increased the positive test percentage to 7.902 percent. Tuesday, this was at 7.88 percent. The 24-hour positive test percentage increased to 10.73 percent Wednesday. This was at 6.34 percent Tuesday.
44,658 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah have occurred. This caused the recovery percentage to decrease to 84.54 percent from Tuesday’s 84.6 percent.
This is an increase of 322 recoveries in the past 24 hours and a net decrease of 24 recoveries in the same span.
The gap between all-time cases and recoveries increased to 8,164 Wednesday. This is an increase of 149 in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 7,754 active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 92 in the past 24 hours. The current active case percentage in Utah is 14.679 percent.
The differential between recovered cases and active cases in Utah increased to 36,904 Wednesday. This is an increase of 172 in the past 24 hours.
There have been 3,134 hospitalizations from covid-19 in Utah since statistics began being kept. This is an increase of 24 in the past 24 hours.
Current hospitalizations increased to 128, a net increase of two in the past 24 hours. The current covid-19 hospitalization percentage is 4.08 percent. Tuesday, this was at 4.05 percent, representing a slight increase.
There are 47 current covid-19 hospitalizations in ICU, an increase of three in the past 24 hours. This increased the ICU covid-19 current hospitalization percentage to 36.7 percent, up from Tuesday’s 34.92 percent.
There have been 410 deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah, a net increase of one in the past 24 hours.
This caused the death percentage to drop to 0.776 percent Wednesday. Tuesday, this was at 0.7804 percent.
