500-K Masks Shipped To Utah For Students, Teachers Returning To Class This Fall

SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, the state of Utah is to receive a tremendous shipment of masks to help keep students safe as they return to school this fall.

500,000 face coverings are to be delivered to the Salt Lake City International Airport for the benefit of students and teachers.

Per a press release, this is part of the state’s initiative titled “A Mask For Every Utahn” which encourages the use of face masks around the Beehive State.

These face masks have been obtained from H.M. Cole and Cotopaxi each of Salt Lake City per Gov. Herbert’s office, the press release attested.

The release states this is free to school districts throughout the state.

The shipment reportedly arrived at Salt Lake City International as of 9:30 am.

Following the delivery,  Herbert and State Superintendent Sydnee Dickson will be on hand to answer questions.

This will represent Herbert’s weekly briefing.
