A man was injured when an explosion heavily damaged his house in a remote part of Huntsville Thursday morning. West Weber Fire District Capt. Rick Cooper says crews responded to reports of an explosion at 12780 E. Evergreen Park Drive around 6 a.m. The explosion apparently happened when te homeowner opened the door to let his dog out. That homeowner was injured and taken to McKay Dee Hospital reportedly in critical condition. The cause of the explosion is under investigation. Photo Credit: Derek Petersen
