OREM, Utah-Tuesday evening, per a release from the Utah Valley University wrestling program, star Wasatch High School wrestler Stockton O’Brien is among a class of nine star recruits hauled in by the Wolverines.
O’Brien, a native of Woodland who has one more year of eligibility for the Wasps as a senior, is a three-time state champion for Wasatch.
He is presently listed as No. 145 on the FloWrestling Senior Big Board and is a two-time NHSCA All-American.
O’Brien has also netted USAW Folkstyle All-American honors in addition to three region titles for the Wasps.
The release confirms O’Brien will wrestle between 141-149 pounds as a collegian for the Wolverines.
