4-H Livestock Winner Ted Sargent Repeats

15 year old Ted Sargent has had a busy summer preparing for the Wasatch County 4-H Junior Livestock Show. As a return champion, Ted knew the rigor of caring for sheep and cattle, his dad Nate Sargent has been his teacher and role model over the years. However, The Sargent’s were called to serve over a mission in Korea, and left in late June to begin their service. Ted carried on alone, with his older brother Colt and sister Whitley at home. Ted presented his 4-H lamb and steer last week, and was awarded a Grand Champion lamb and a Grand in steer showmanship. Within 48 hours of completing the Livestock show, Ted was reunited with his parents in Korea. Congratulations to Ted, and well done young man. It’s great to see the agriculture community thriving in Wasatch County.
