Turkey Trot 5K Raising Money for Local Youth’s Cancer Fight

The Lynden Legacy Turkey Trot is a fun 5k run through beautiful Midway, Utah on Thanksgiving Day. This is a great race for everybody from the competitive runner to the leisurely walker and everything in between. Strollers are welcome and kids can ride bikes, scooters, etc. This year the race will start at end at the Midway Town Hall. So join us to Walk, Run, Skip, or Trot for your health on this Thanksgiving Day.

All proceeds will go to support 13 year old Yaretzy Holguin Hernandez and her fight against cancer. Just days before the school year started this year, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and may need surgery to remove a tumor in her collarbone. Anything we can do to rally around her and her family will help a lot!
