Mounted Shooters Invite Public for Free

Mounted Shooters Invite Public for Free

There is no shortage of free activities during the Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Gathering this week from October 23 – 27, 2019. Including the Mounted Shooter Competition at the Wasatch County Event Center on Friday, October 25th from 10 am to 4 pm. Come see the nations best cowboy shooters, riding good-lookin’ horses while firing six shooters, rifles and shotguns. This is an exciting, fast-paced competition.

Cowboy mounted shooting is one of the nation’s fastest growing timed event sports, showing horsemanship and shooting ability in a competitive event. See what it’s like to be a wild west shooter and learn how to fire a real black powder gun. This experience caters to the beginners and will be done on the ground (not on a horse).

Ground Shooters Fee: $5.00 for 10 shots / 2 guns
Provided: Ammo, guns, holster, ear plugs and an experienced instructor.
Call Kevin Koyle for information and to register at
