SAN ANTONIO (AP) — San Antonio has a 3-2 lead in the NBA’s Western Conference semifinals after Danny Green scored seven of his 16 points in overtime to lead the Spurs past the Rockets, 110-107. The Spurs won it despite playing the extra period without Kawhi (kah-WY’) Leonard, who hurt his right ankle midway through the third quarter and sat out the overtime period. He had 22 points and 15 rebounds in 38 minutes before exiting for good.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Ottawa Senators beat the New York Rangers, 4-2 to advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since losing to Anaheim in the 2007 Stanley Cup finals. Erik Karlsson and Mark Stone each had a goal and an assist for support Craig Anderson, who made 14 of his 37 saves in the third period. Jean-Gabriel Pageau (pa-ZHOH’) capped the scoring with his sixth goal of the series.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Dallas Stars have acquired the rights to goalie Ben Bishop from Los Angeles Kings for a fourth-round pick in next month’s NHL draft. Bishop will become an unrestricted free agent unless the Stars sign him before July 1. The Kings also worked out a four-year, $15 million contract with forward Tanner Pearson, who scored a career-high 24 goals and had 44 points this season.

DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs split a pair in Denver on Tuesday, with each team posting a lopsided victory. The Cubs absorbed their fourth straight loss in Game 1 as Ryan Hanigan and Mark Reynolds drove in three runs apiece to lead the Rockies’ 10-4 rout of Chicago. The Rockies’ bats were silenced by John Lackey in the nightcap as the Cubs’ right-hander struck out 10 over seven innings of an 8-1 rout.

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Orioles beat the Nationals for the second straight night as Mark Trumbo provided the walk-off single in the 12th inning of a 5-4 comeback by the Birds at Camden Yards. Baltimore trailed 4-1 following Adam Lind’s three-run blast in the eighth, but Adam Jones hit a solo homer in the bottom half and the Orioles scored twice in the ninth en route to their season-high, sixth straight win. Washington was one out away from a 4-2 victory until Jonathan Schoop (skohp) doubled in a run and J.J. Hardy followed a with an RBI single.
