Sandy Double Stabbing Suspect Arrested In St. George 

(St. George, UT)  –  A man accused of stabbing his sister and father in a Sandy home is behind bars following his arrest in Saint George.  Police arrested Sione Vaitai after a brief chase yesterday morning which also caused a nearby school to be placed on lockdown status.  Authorities have not revealed what charges Vaitai will be facing as a result of Friday’s stabbing in Sandy and the chase in Saint George.  The victims in the Friday incident are both recovering at the hospital and are in stable condition.
