NEPHI, Utah (AP)-Trevor Burton had virtually a perfect game, amassing four receptions for 178 yards and four scores as the Delta Rabbits downed Class 3-A Juab 39-32 Friday in non-region football action. Delta signal-caller Jake Day had five completions, four of which were touchdown passes to Burton. Despite giving up 363 yards of offense, the Rabbits’ defense opportunistically forced five fumbles and recovered all five of them. In defeat, Alex White amassed 231 all-purpose yards, including an 85-yard kickoff return for a score as well as 16 carries for 111 yards and a pair of scores for Juab. Additionally, Easton Wright completed 17 of 31 passes for 251 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception for the Wasps with Macray Stevens hauling in 7 receptions for 128 yards and a score with Tucker Memmott posting four receptions for 75 yards for the Wasps as well. Delta next faces Manti next Friday evening on KSVC-FM 100.5 in their home opener with Juab playing hos to Cedar next Friday night.
CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP)-Porter Hollingshead threw two touchdown passes and Creiton Hollingshead tossed for one touchdown and ran for another score as the Beaver Beavers pounded Canyon View 46-0 Friday in non-region football action. Ryker Albrecht and Tyce Raddon added touchdown runs in the rout for Beaver.
MANTI, Utah (AP)-Lance Fowles had scoring runs of 35 and 19 yards as the Manti Templars got past Carbon 21-14 in non-region football action Friday. Jace Miller added a 4-yard touchdown run in the win for the Templars.
RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Tason Lacorti hauled in a 53-yard scoring pass from Emmit Hafen while running for two more touchdowns while the Richfield Wildcats downed Emery 21-14 Friday in non-region football action.
GUNNISON, Utah (AP)-Tyler Davis caught touchdown passes of 80 and 20 yards as the Milford Bulldogs thrashed Gunnison 49-14 in non-region football action Friday. Bryson Barnes added two more touchdown runs in the win for Milford with Kris Edwards tossing a touchdown pass and running for another score in defeat for the Bulldogs.
ENTERPRISE, Utah (AP)-Dillon Lund and Slade Sheriff ran for scores with Kaleb Kelly adding a key field goal as the Millard Eagles stymied Enterprise 24-14 in non-region football action Friday.
KANAB, Utah (AP)-Tavin Ott had two touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Kanab Cowboys downed South Sevier 23-7 Friday in non-region football action.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah (AP)-Nukuluve Helu returned a blocked kick and interception for scores as well as adding a 41-yard touchdown run as the Tooele Buffaloes smacked North Sanpete 41-0 Friday in non-region football action.
SALINA, Utah (AP)-Fernando Elmer had a pair of touchdown runs as the North Sevier Wolves pounded Wayne 54-7 in non-region football action Friday. Manny Perez, Gabe Wilcox, Taylor Crane and Riley Ogden also added touchdown runs for the Wolves while Brooks Mickelsen caught a touchdown pass and Burke Mickelsen recovered a fumble in the end zone in the rout for the Wolves.
