The 51s blasted the Salt Lake Bees, 8-1, in the finale of a four-game set in Las Vegas. Eric Young Jr. plated the only run of the night in the eighth for the Bees, who dropped to 65-and-65. The Bees have tonight off. They open a four-game set in Albuquerque tomorrow.
The Raptors outslugged the Orem Owlz, 12-9, last night in Ogden. Samuel Ortiz homered and plated two for the Raptors, who improved to 36-and-22. Brandon Marsh had three hits, two runs and two RBI for Orem, which dropped to 39-and-18. Tonight, Orem hosts Grand Junction and Ogden visits Idaho Falls.
