(Albuquerque, NM) — The Salt Lake Bees blew out the Isotopes, 8-1, in the finale of a four-game set in Albuquerque. Michael Hermosillo homered twice and plated four runs for the Bees, who improved to 68-and-66. Salt Lake begins a four-game series with the Rainiers in Tacoma tonight.
Elsewhere in minor league baseball, the Orem Owlz outlasted the Grand Junction Rockies in 11 innings, 5-4. Orem is 42-and-20 on the year. The Raptors ripped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 17-6, in Ogden. The Raptors improved to 40-and-23.
