SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.
82.9 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (272,113-328,380) are recovered cases.
16.7 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (54,750-328,380) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,626) exceed new active cases (-477) and new net recorded cases (2,159).
There are 217,363 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
181,169 vaccines have been administered statewide. Of these, 164,267 Utahns have received one dose and 16,902 have obtained the recommended two doses.
In Wasatch County, 1,977 residents have been vaccinated. Of these, 1,915 (96.9 percent) of Wasatch County residents have received one dose and 62 (3.14 percent) have received two doses.
Of the 12,729 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 551 are currently hospitalized, or 4.33 percent.
Of the 551, 210 are currently in ICU or 38.1 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
87.7 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 91.2 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,517 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide. This kept the percentage at 0.462 percent for the third consecutive day.
Wasatch School District has 57 current cases out of 565 all-time cases or 10.1 percent.
Wasatch Couty has 3,814 all-time deaths, 86 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
