PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, Elder David A. Bednar of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Quorum of Twelve Apostles, testified of temple miracles, especially during the covid-19 era, at a BYU devotional address.
Elder Bednar cited miracles dating back to November 2020 in several North American temples.
November 10, government officials in a large jurisdiction announced a new wave of pandemic-induced restrictions to be implemented three days later and would suspend religious gatherings for a minimum o three weeks.
These temple leaders prayerfully decided to keep the temples operating non-stop through midnight November 13.
Patrons were called by temple leadership and everyone responded to the call, per Elder Bednar’s report.
Elder Bednar likened these miracles to those experienced by the Latter-day Saints at Nauvoo in 1846 when all ordinances were performed before heading across the plains to the Salt Lake Valley.
