PHOENIX-Saturday, Dixie State women’s swimming competed at the Grand Canyon Dual, falling 145-110 to the Antelopes.
The Trailblazers were represented by two Wasatch High School products, sophomore Claire Kieffer and freshman Madelyn Moulton.
In the women’s 200-yard freestyle, Kieffer placed fourth (1:57.09). She next placed sixth in the women’s 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 24.78.
In the women’s 100-yard freestyle, Kieffer finished fifth in a time of 54.76. In the women’s 200-yard freestyle relay, Kieffer swam the second leg, posting a time of 1:14.20. She was joined by freshman Kathryn Carter, senior Miriam Gonzalez and sophomore Kyrie Sutherland.
Moulton placed fifth in the women’s 100-yard breaststroke, posting a time of 1:07.06. In the women’s 200-yard breaststroke, Moulton finished sixth in a time of 2:29.02.
