SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

81.9 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (264,246-322,252) are recovered.

17.5 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (56,251-322,252) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (990) exceed new active cases (887) as they have every day since November 25. They are both exceeded by new net recorded cases (2,150) in the past 24 hours.

There are 207,995 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

152,509 vaccines have been administered statewide via survey. The Utah Statewide Immunization Information System attests 149,697 vaccines have been recorded.

Of the 12,452 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 581 are currently hospitalized or 4.67 percent.

Of the 581, 231 are in ICU or 39.8 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

94.5 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 98 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,485 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.461 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 51 active cases out of 538 all-time cases or 9.48 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,714 all-time cases, 86 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
