FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.-Friday, former Wasatch High School stars Claire Kieffer and Madelyn Moulton competed for Dixie State’s women’s swimming squad at the Northern Arizona Dual.
While the Lumberjacks prevailed 157-101, Kieffer and Moulton contributed greatly to the Trailblazers’ cause.
Kieffer took the crown in the women’s 50-yard freestyle in a time of 24.14.
Kieffer also placed third in the women’s 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 55.26.
Kieffer swam the anchor leg of the women’s 200-yard medley relay, posting a time of 24.11. Kieffer was joined by sophomore Drew Roper, freshman Kathryn Carter and sophomore Kyrie Sutherland.
She also swam the third leg of women’s 400-yard freestyle relay, being joined by sophomore Chloe Partsch, senior Megan Ruppenthal and freshman Gabbie Adams.
Moulton competed in the women’s 100-yard breast, placing third (1:07.05).
