SALT LAKE CITY-Per news released Monday, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his wife, Patricia, are the featured speakers at this year’s Family Discovery Day at RootsTech Connect February 27.
Family Discovery Day is hosted by FamilySearch, a non-profit organization and Web site offering genealogical records, education and software, is operated by the Salt Lake City-based faith and has been in existence since November 13, 1894.
This year’s event will be conducted virtually with Elder and Sister Holland hosting the event from his hometown of St. George, Utah.
The Hollands will share family memories and stories via a video recorded at various locations throughout St. George and the greater Washington County area.
Trainings on temple and family history will be hosted by Elder Holland’s colleagues in the Quorum of Twelve Apostles: Elders David A. Bednar, Gary E. Stevenson and Dale G. Renlund.
