SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

81.45 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (247,390-303,723) cases are recovered.

18.1 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (54,943-303,723) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,400) exceeded new active cases (204). They were both exceeded by new net recorded cases (2,613) in the same span. This is a trend that has occurred throughout the week.

There are 192,447 more recoveries than active cases statewide. Since November 25 of last year, this number has steadily increased daily.

Via a survey, 99,612 vaccines have been administered statewide. This is an increase of 10,181 in the past 24 hours. 87,670 vaccines have been reported to the Utah Statewide Immunization Information System.

Of the 11,778 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19, 535 are currently hospitalized or 4.54 percent.

Of the 535, 181 are in ICU statewide or 33.83 percent of ICU occupancy.

90.5 percent of ICU beds statewide are occupied and 92.8 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,390 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.458 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch School District has 36 active cases out of 499 all-time cases, or 7.21 percent. This is up from Friday’s 5.73 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,484 all-time cases, 80 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
