SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, covid-19 statistics were updated for the state of Utah.

74.35 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (164,622-228,129) are recovered.

25.197 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (57,482-228,129) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new covid-19 recoveries (4,580) exceeded new net cases (2,103) and new active cases (-2,407).

There are 112,140 more recoveries than active cases statewide per Friday’s report.

Of the 9,269 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 568 are currently hospitalized, or 6.13 percent.

Of the 568, 213 are in ICU, or 37.5 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

92 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 96.7 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,025 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.4493 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch County has 2,666 all-time cases, 68 all-time hospitalizations and 13 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
