Latter-day Saint Charities Provides Grants To US Refugee Agencies

SALT LAKE CITY-In news released Wednesday, Latter-day Saints Charities, the charitable arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has provided substantial grants to nine resettlement agencies.

These agencies include the Washington D.C.-based United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the International Rescue Committee of New York, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants of Washington D.C., Church World Service, New York-based HIAS, Baltimore-based Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, Episcopal Migration Ministries of Miami Springs, Fla., Arlington, Va.-based Ethiopian Community Development Council and World Relief of Baltimore.

In other Church news, FamilySearch is now available in 30 languages.
