SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of Health.
67.5 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (129,652-192,087) are recovered per Saturday’s report.
32.05 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (61,572-192,087) are active cases per Saturday’s report.
The new recoveries in Utah (2,962) exceeded the new active cases (-933) as recorded in the past 24 hours in the state.
There are 68,080 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
Of the 8,029 all-time covid-19 hospitalizations in Utah, 573 are currently hospitalized or 7.14 percent.
Of the 573, 207 are in ICU or 36.1 percent of ICU occupancy. 81.7 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 85.1 percent of ICU referral center beds. Both of those numbers are down from Friday.
There are 863 deaths attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.449 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch County has 2,129 all-time covid-19 cases, 55 all-time hospitalizations and 13 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
