SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
This is a 2-day report as the state department of health took Thanksgiving Day off.
66.6 percent of covid-19 cases statewide are recovered (126,690-190,044).
32.9 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (62,505-190,044) are active cases.
The new recoveries in the past 48 hours (5,800) greatly exceed the new active cases (327) in the same span.
There are 64,185 more recoveries than active cases in Utah per Friday’s report.
Of the 7,948 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 569 are currently hospitalized, or 7.16 percent.
Of the 569, 205 are in ICU or 36.1 percent of ICU occupancy. 87.9 percent of ICU beds statewide are occupied and 91 percent of ICU referral center beds.
849 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.4467 percent of all covid-19 cases in Utah.
Wasatch County has 2,097 all-time covid-19 cases, 55 all-time hospitalizations and 13 deaths attributed to the virus.
