SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

65.7 percent of covid-19 cases in Utah are recovered (120,890-183,902).

33.8 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (62,178-183,902) are active cases.

For the first time in many days, new recoveries in the past 24 hours (2,117) exceed new net recorded cases (1,781).

Furthermore, active cases dropped by 362 in the past 24 hours.

There are 58,712 more recoveries than active cases statewide per Thursday’s report.

Of the 7,785 all-time recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 570 are currently hospitalized or 7.32 percent.

Of the 570, 207 are in ICU, or 36.3 percent of ICU occupancy. 82. 1 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 86.8 percent of ICU referral center beds.

834 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.453 percent of all-time covid-19 cases in Utah.

Wasatch County has 2,023 all-time covid-19 cases, 56 all-time hospitalizations and 13 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
