HEBER CITY, Utah-A Wasatch County man is facing several charges after being accused at shooting at several homes in Wasatch County.
The Heber City Police Department confirms that November 5, a person called 911 at 5:13 pm after hearing several gunshots and bullets over his head.
A second caller to 911 confirmed their home had been struck by gunfire.
Officers responded to this residence, discovering a bullet. This was later taken into police headquarters as evidence.
In subsequent days, two other Wasatch County homes were struck by gunfire.
A 10-year-old girl told authorities she was only feet away from where the bullet entered the room.
Several other children in the area informed detectives they heard bullets flying over their heads.
Officers and detectives from the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office and the Heber City Police Department subsequently conducted interviews and reviewed surveillance footage.
This led them to identify Alexis Garcia as a suspect.
November 19, Garcia was arrested and booked into the Wasatch County Jail in Heber City on 22 counts of felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice and discharge of a firearm within 600 feet of a house, per the Heber City Police Department.
