GUATEMALA CITY-In news released Thursday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its charitable arm, Latter-day Saint Charities, are assisting Latter-day Saints affected by Hurricanes Eta and Iota.
These organizations delivered thousands of emergency supplies and more than 120 tons of food to assist Central Americans in the aftermath of Hurricane Iota striking the eastern Nicaraguan coastline November 3.
This came just weeks after Hurricane Eta has also besieged Central America.
The Salt Lake City-based faith also assisted those in need in Honduras and Guatemala during these arduous experiences.
