SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics were updated by the Utah State Department of Health.
There have been 95,562 cases of covid-19 recorded in Utah per Monday’s statistics.
This is an increase of 1,168 in the past 24 hours.
980,659 Utahns have been tested for covid-19. This is an increase of 6,721 Utahns in the past 24 hours.
There have been 71,035 recoveries in Utah. This is an increase of 869 in the past 24 hours. The recovery percentage increased to 74.3 percent.
There are 23,981 active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 296 in the past 24 hours. The active case percentage in Utah is 25.09 percent.
There are 47,144 more recoveries than active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 663 in the past 24 hours.
There have been 4,688 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 288 are currently hospitalized, or 6.14 percent.
Of the 288, 103 are in ICU or 35.8 percent. ICU is 69.7 percent occupied in Utah per Monday’s report.
There have been 546 deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of three in the past 24 hours.
The death rate percentage dropped to 0.571 percent Monday.
Wasatch County saw seven new cases of covid-19 in the past 24 hours. This raised the net total to 986.
There are now 41 recorded hospitalizations, an increase of one in the past 24 hours.
The deaths attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County remain at 9 per Monday’s report. The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred October 14.
