SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, University of Utah football confirmed fall camp will commence for the Utes October 9.
The Utes and their Pac-12 rivals will commence their season November 6 with the Pac-12 championship game slated for December 18.
The full football schedule for the San Francisco-based conference will be revealed in coming days.
The Utes will adhere by NCAA and Pac-12 rules as well as regulations set forth by the Utah Department of Health and the Salt Lake County Health Department.
Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham who is 131-64 (.672) as he enters his 17th season at the helm of the Utes’ program, determined the quarterback competition will be between senior Drew Lisk, sophomore Cameron Rising and graduate transfer Jake Bentley who transferred from the University of South Carolina.
