HEBER CITY, Utah-28-year-old Dale Robert Lawrence of Heber City has been charged with 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Lawrence allegedly asked for and received sexually explicit videos and pictures on Snapchat from a 16-year-old girl in Arizona.
Among Lawrence’s counts are sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony, one count of dealing in material harmful to a minor, a third-degree felony and four counts of enticement of a minor: a class A misdemeanor, per charging documents.
A 16-year-old girl reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children May 27 that she had been communicating with Lawrence and he had asked for her photos.
She explained she had spoken with Lawrence on Snapchat from March-July 2018. He reportedly told her his name, his email address and of his injury during a high school wrestling practice.
Court documents state the teen discovered his Facebook account and news articles concerning his injury.
She told the detective she sent nude pictures and “provocative” videos to Lawrence upon his request for them.
The detective then obtained a search warrant and confirmed the pair’s communication, confirming Lawrence had asked for this explicit content.
Upon learning the girl was going to be 16 in May 2018, Lawrence said “That’s okay….means you’re my secret little slut.”
Thirty minutes later, he reportedly sent her a picture of his penis.
Lawrence also requested the girl send pictures and videos of her in the nude and in provocative poses. He then explained what sexual acts he wished for her to perform.
The detective interviewed Lawrence at his home September 14, admitting that the Snapchat account, “professorx152,” which was used to communicate with the girl, belonged to him and that he still uses it, per court documents.
Lawrence also confessed to speaking with the girl, knowing she was a minor, and engaging in sexual conversations with her, asking for her to send inappropriate content.
