SALT LAKE CITY-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirms a special episode of the Book of Mormon video series has been published to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the first appearance of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ to Joseph Smith, the prophet and first president of the presently Salt Lake City-based faith.
This video premiered in English during the hour leading up to this past Sunday evening’s Face to Face broadcast featuring Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Church’s Quorum of Twelve Apostles, and his wife, Melanie.
It is presently also available with Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.

This is the last Book of Mormon video to be released before 2022. Filming is to resume in 2021 for subsequent Book of Mormon episodes.
