SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, Wasatch County Health Department health education/media relations coordinator Trudy Brereton confirmed 91.1 percent of covid-19 cases in the county are recovered.
The present recovery rate is 614-674 all-time cases. The 674 cases represent three new cases in Wasatch County in the past 24 hours.
The hospitalizations (31) and deaths (7) remain unchanged in the past 24 hours. The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred August 28.
Presently, in Utah, there are 40,090 more recovered cases than active cases. This differential increased by more than 224.
There are 128 current hospitalizations out of 3,361 current hospitalizations statewide. This caused the percentage to drop to 3.8 percent. Of the 128, 50 are in ICU 39.063 percent. ICU is 66 percent occupied in Utah presently.
The deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah did not change, remaining at 436 deaths for the second consecutive day. This dropped the death percentage to 0.738 percent statewide, down from Monday’s 0.746 percent.
