First Presidency Exhorts Latter-day Saints To Exercise Faith

SALT LAKE CITY-In recent comments, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed that faith is always a reliable response to conflict.

Church President Russell M. Nelson and his counselors, first counselor Dallin H. Oaks and second counselor Henry B. Eyring, reflected upon covid-19 and the disruption it has caused for lives around the world.

President Nelson said that while he feels sorrowful, he can still find the silver lining.

President Oaks opined, saying that covid-19 represents an opportunity for growth for the righteous.

President Oaks continued, stating that the result for obedience to the Lord’s commandments is the reception of peace.

President Eyring said he is impressed with the adaptability of the Latter-day Saints to wade through these arduous times.
