New Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Created; Stake Reorganizations Occur

SALT LAKE CITY-This week, information was revealed concerning the creation of a new stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was created while 15 other stakes worldwide were organized.

The new stake is located in Winder, Ga. The stake president is Greg Neil Giddens with Kevin Kurtiss Maggert and Jason Bernard Webster serving as his counselors.

There are now 19 stakes in Georgia with the creation of the Winder Stake.

Stake reorganizations occurred in the Angeles Philippines Stake (Luisito Roque Escoto was called as the new stake president), the Atotonilco Mexico Stake (Kib Lugo Villasenor is the new stake president), the Buffalo Grove Illinois Stake (Eric Lincoln Cieslak is the new stake president), the Chiclayo Peru La Victoria Stake (Jose Luis Celiz Sanchez is the new stake president), the Draper Utah Corner Canyon Stake (Todd Stanley Skousen is the new stake president), the Guaratingueta Brazil Stake (Jean Soldi Esteves is the new stake president), the Guayaquil Ecuador Juan Montalvo Stake (Yuber Mauricio Miranda Macias is the new stake president), the Iquitos Peru Punchana Stake (Raly Reil Ramirez Rivadeneyra is the new stake president), the Libertad Ecuador Stake (Milton Ramon Velez Gonzalez is the new stake president), the Piracicaba Brazil Stake (Jose Eduardo Buzatto Jr. is the new stake president), the Retalhuleu Guatemala Stake (Oscar Ovidio Olivar Rodas is the new stake president), the Santa Ana California South Stake [Spanish] (Gilberto Valle is the new stake president), the Sao Paulo Brazil Ferreira Stake (Thiago Brentano Rodrigues is the new stake president), the Sao Paulo Brazil Piratininga Stake (Diego Paulucci de Melo is the new stake president) and the Tirana Albania Stake (Jetmir Hysi is the new stake president).
