SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed the opening of more temples to Phase 2 of reopening as of September 7.
The Salt Lake City-based faith has cited Phase 2 as endowments for the living being performed as they were disallowed previously.
The First Presidency has said that these temples, which now include the Manti Temple, has resulted in high demand for ordinances being performed by patrons throughout Utah.
In citing specific guidelines for Utah, The First Presidency stated Monday that the first priority will be given to living persons who are sealed, followed by missionaries preparing to depart, based upon their departure date.
In addition to the Manti Temple, other temples to be opened to Phase 2 September 7 are as follows:
-Gilbert Arizona Temple
-Indianapolis Indiana Temple
-Kansas City Missouri Temple
