SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the creation of an online system to send the names of family or friends to the temple.
Next, those names will be placed upon prayer rolls at temples throughout the world.
Requests to place a name on the temple prayer rolls can now be made through the “Temples” section of the member tools mobile app.
This commences August 25 for Android and September 1 for iOS.
Once these names are entered into this system, they will be sent to that temple, or whichever currently operating temple is the nearest.
