PROVO, Utah-The Provo Police Department provided follow-up information Wednesday concerning a Subaru Outback which pulled up at the Provo MTC August 3 at 2:26 am, firing shots at the security booth at the main entrance.
On the morning of August 3, 2020, a BYU student employed as a Security Officer was working in the security booth at the entrance to the Provo MTC. At approx. 2:30 am a white (or possibly silver) Subaru Outback pulled up on 900 East and stopped in front of the MTC Security booth. pic.twitter.com/CsoZf4YTy4

Further information states a male shot numerous rounds from a handgun toward the security officer inside the booth.
This caused extensive damage to the booth.
The suspect then fled southbound on 900 East.
