SALT LAKE CITY-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had a busy Thursday morning as the Salt Lake City-based faith announced groundbreaking ceremonies for temples to be located at Brasilia, Brazil and San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

This temple will be located on a six-acre site at SGA/Notre Quadra 612-Lote “C” in the Brazilian capital city.

Plans are calling for a single-story temple consisting of approximately 25,000 square feet. Patron housing and a new meetinghouse are also to be constructed at this site.
