BENTONVILLE, Ark.-In a Thursday statement, Walmart announced it is transforming 160 of its store parking lots into drive-in theaters, starting in August.

Walmart announced it is teaming up with New York-based Tribeca Enterprises for the films.

Walmart says these family-friendly evenings will consist of hit movies, special appearances from filmmakers and deliveries and concessions delivered to customer vehicles.

These events will continue through October and feature over 300 showings.
