MIDWAY, Utah-Midway Boosters and 94.5 the Peak radio present a Midway Independence Day celebration Saturday July 4.

The event features prerecorded addresses by keynote speaker, United States Utah 3rd District Congressman John Curtis, Midway mayor Celeste Johnson, Midway Boosters Club president Joe Klotovich, Our Honored Citizen Kaye Bonner and her brother, Larry Bonner and Swiss Miss Royalty, McKenzie Harvey, Elle Berrett, Nellie Cregor, Ellie Groesbeck and Sophie Jensen.

There will also be a drive-by on Main Street (200 East-200 West) featuring The Honored Citizen, The Mayor and City Council, Midway Boosters, Swiss Miss Royalty, Miss Wasatch Maddalena Willis, first attendant Kayla Deus, second attendant, Carrie Hughes and third attendant Hannah Chipman.

The Boy Scouts of America of Wasatch County will also be doing a fundraiser in the town square and there will be cool treats for a hot 4th of July.

Afterward, the Boosters will present fireworks at dusk. Listen to 94.5 The Peak for music to accompany the fireworks.
