WALLSBURG, Utah-Sunday, a 23-year-old man drowned at Deer Creek, per a Facebook post from Wasatch County Search & Rescue.
Search and rescue crews responded to a report of three swimmers in distress at the reservoir around 2:00 pm Sunday.
An alert bystander rescued two swimmers but a third, the 23-year-old, was unaccounted for and had drowned, per authorities.
Officials from Utah State Parks and Recreation, Summit County Utah Search and Rescue and Wasatch County Search and Rescue assisted with the recovery of the man’s body per the Facebook post.
The man was unidentified and no further information concerning the drowning was released.
