SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, COVID-19 statistics for the state of Utah were released. Presently, there are 9,999 total cases from COVID-19 in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 202 net cases in the past 24 hours, or a net decrease of 80 from Sunday-Monday.
Furthermore, of those affected, 6,364 have recovered from COVID-19 in the Beehive State, or 63.6 percent of all cases.
In the past 24 hours, 227 of those who had cases of COVID-19 have recovered. Presently, there are 3,635 net active cases of COVID-19 in the Beehive State.
There have been 218,112 total tests for COVID-19 administered in Utah. This is a net increase of 4,198 tests in the past 24 hours.
This caused the overall net positive test percentage to slightly increase to 4.58 percent. However, in the past 24 hours, a significant positive test drop occurred in the percentage, which checks in at 4.81 percent from Sunday-Monday.
There have been 789 hospitalizations in Utah from COVID-19, a net increase of 14 from Sunday’s totals. However, there are only 95 current hospitalizations in Utah from the virus. This dropped the current hospitalization percentage to 12.1 percent.
No new deaths are reported from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, keeping the net total of deaths at 113 headed into June in the Beehive State.
Presently, Wasatch County has 292 cases of COVID-19. This is an increase of 10 in the past 24 hours. There have been 14 hospitalizations in Wasatch County from COVID-19, an increase of one from Sunday-Monday and 2 deaths. The last death occurred Sunday.
