ST. GEORGE, Utah-Thursday morning, a woman and her husband were killed in a car crash, police confirmed.
The couple were headed eastbound on Indian Hills Drive when their Honda truck drove through the light at Hilton Drive, striking a column in front of the Moto Zoo, located at 359 W. Hilton Drive in the southern sector of the city, authorities confirmed.
The woman, who was in her early 90’s, died at the scene. Her husband, who was in his late 80’s, was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center of St. George via ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
He passed away as medics performed life-saving measures.
The incident is under investigation to find the cause of the crash, St. George Police confirmed.
The couple’s names were not released pending notification of family members.
