SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, the daily statistics were released for COVID-19 in the state of Utah.
There are presently 8,260 total cases of COVID-19 in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 203 cases from the previous day’s totals. It also is a net increase of 20 cases from the previous day’s total.
There have been 190,779 total tests administered in Utah. This has increased the net total positive test percentage to 4.33 percent.
In the past 24 hours, 3,945 tests for COVID-19 were administered. With the 203 coming back positive, this increases the positive test percentage from Friday-Saturday to 5.1 percent.
There have now been 676 hospitalizations in Utah from COVID-19. This is an increase of 16 from the previous day’s totals.
There have also been 97 deaths from COVID-19 in Utah. This is an increase of four from Friday’s totals.
In Wasatch County, there are now 237 cases of COVID-19, which is an increase of 9. There are now 11 hospitalizations from the virus in Wasatch County of the virus and one death, which occurred April 10.
