UHSAA Reiterates Decision To Cancel All Spring Sports

MIDVALE, Utah-The Utah High School Activities Association, via an early Tuesday evening statement, reiterated their decision, which was originally made April 14, to cancel all high school spring sports.

A likely cause for this is because all spring sports could have possibly been restored in June, per April statements made by UHSAA Executive Director Rob Cuff to Mid-Utah Radio (KSVC News) sportscaster Robert Lovell, but state track and field occurs annually at BYU and BYU has made the decision to shut down operations on campus until August.

A Tuesday board meeting substantiated this ban, which will likely last until August when fall sports traditionally commence.

We look forward to bringing Wasatch High School sports to you in due course on 94.5 The Peak and on hebervalleyradio.com.

We value the way the community has embraced us.
