MIDVALE, Utah-The Utah High School Activities Association, via an early Tuesday evening statement, reiterated their decision, which was originally made April 14, to cancel all high school spring sports.
A likely cause for this is because all spring sports could have possibly been restored in June, per April statements made by UHSAA Executive Director Rob Cuff to Mid-Utah Radio (KSVC News) sportscaster Robert Lovell, but state track and field occurs annually at BYU and BYU has made the decision to shut down operations on campus until August.
A Tuesday board meeting substantiated this ban, which will likely last until August when fall sports traditionally commence.
