Tuesday Utah COVID-19 Stats

SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, the latest COVID-19 statistics were released for the Beehive State.

There have now been 5,449 positive tests for COVID-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 132 positive tests in the past 24 hours for the Beehive State.

However, this is a decrease of 10 cases in the past 24 hours in the net totals.

There have been 126,715 total tests in Utah administered for COVID-19 and because only 2,054 were tested in the past 24 hours, the overall positive test percentage is currently at 4.3 percent.

The 132 positive tests in the past 24 hours means 6.4 percent of Utahns tested Monday-Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19.

There are now 456 hospitalizations from the disease, an increase of 15 from Monday’s totals and there are six new deaths in the Beehive State, raising the fatality total to 56.

Wasatch County now has 166 positive tests for COVID-19. This is an increase of 7 from Monday’s totals.

There remain only 7 hospitalizations and one death (April 10) from the pandemic in Wasatch County.
